Who is invited to attend:
• Parents of Type 1 Children
• Grandparents of Type 1 Children
• Adults living with Type 1 Diabetes
• Friends and Neighbors of Type 1 Children
• Babysitters and Caregivers of Type 1 Children
• Teachers and School Nurses

Purpose of Class:
The purpose of the class is to provide basic education concerning Type 1 Diabetes to newly diagnosed families and current families living with Type 1 Diabetes. Families are encouraged to invite grandparents, babysitters, extended family, neighbors and friends to the class. As others learn more about Type 1 Diabetes, they will also grow more comfortable around a child with diabetes thus building a stronger support system for Type 1 families.

No Charge for Attendence (Must RSVP to Reserve Seat, Lunch and Notebook—see below)
No Childcare Available (If this will keep you from attending, please contact Mia for possible childcare options)
No Children (Teens welcome but some material might be disturbing to a child)
